Our Story
MRC Industrial Contractors Inc. was founded in 1999 by Mark Robert Campbell. Our early work focused on industrial systems where precision, safety, and long-term performance mattered every day.
In 2013, MRC expanded into mobile telecommunications — bringing that same discipline into tower construction, technology upgrades, and long-term maintenance.
Today, MRC supports wireless carriers across Colorado, Wyoming, South Dakota, Montana, Kansas, Missouri, and Idaho with site development, construction, modernization, and maintenance services.
We build with the expectation that we will be responsible for the work long after construction is complete.

Leadership in the Field
Our tower division is led by Mike Harrell, who brings over a decade of hands-on project and construction management experience in the mobile telecommunications industry.
Mike leads from the field, not just the office. His approach is grounded in execution, accountability, and doing the work the right way the first time.
As our owner Mike often says,
“If we’re going to build it, we’re going to be responsible for it. That changes how you approach every bolt, every mount, every safety decision.”
That mindset shows up across every project and every crew.
Why MRC Towers
At MRC, our teams are built from within.
We invest early in developing strong work habits, with a focus on safety, quality, and accountability from day one. As team members demonstrate those standards in the field, they earn the opportunity to take on greater responsibility.
That approach creates consistency — in how the work is performed, how sites are managed, and how our crews show up. It’s how we deliver a reliable work product our clients can count on.
We believe in character over competence.
Skills can be taught. The way someone approaches their work — their integrity, accountability, and respect for safety — is what sets the foundation. As we grow, we stay intentional about preserving the values that built this company, even as projects, teams, and responsibilities expand.
Our leadership plays a direct role in that. They look for those core values first, and then take on the responsibility of teaching the MRC way of doing business.
It’s how we maintain the standards our partners expect — and the culture that supports them.
